Program Content

Traditional standardized tests have become a concern of every teacher. Using the handbook, How to Prepare Your Students for Standardized Tests by Julia Jasmine, this workshop will show educators how they can better prepare students for standardized tests. Some of the topics addressed in the workshop are: acquiring the vocabulary commonly used on tests, learning ways to attack a question, and controlling the stress and fear which often surround testing.

Program Objectives

To assist teachers in methods of teaching test taking skills
To ascertain the problems teachers find in test taking and to address those problems
To help teachers develop a set of strategies that will enable them to help prepare their students for tests
